Disappointed...sent back the chicken fried steak. It was burnt, the canned beans were old , the gravy looked liked it sat out for a week and the potatoes...well you get the point. Ended up ordering the all you can eat fish and chips....only brought you two at a time so you had to reorder as soon as they gave you the plate. Second fish plate was just a portion above bite size. Fish was over battered. However the fries were good. All you get is fish and fries. I think they could have sprung for some coleslaw. Went there for the steak and all you can eat salad bar special in the past, and honestly , the salad bar was the better of the two.

I'm not a huge fan of Sizzler, although I do like to visit once in a while. This particular Sizz is the best one... Ever! It has been here for Many years and has alway been consistent. The salad bar is always fresh, the food I always prepared as requested and it's always clean.

The 'Sniz' it is! Sizzler, or 'the Sniz' and my friends and I affectionately call it, is a good place to get a salad. You might want to throw in a steak while you're at it, or even some all-you-can-eat shrimp. The best thing about the Sniz is that it always has specials and/or coupons to be found to give you greater bang for your buck. The salad bar is good with interesting options such as nachos, chicken wings, and pizza as side items (or even a whole avocado, if that's your bag, baby). Check out Sizzler if you want a meal that's a step up from fast food and has a great salad bar.

Been coming to this specific location for many years. Always great food and great service. And it is right by Sugarhouse Park. So after a big meal, it's great to go around the park for a walk. The salad bar is amazing. Many times, I come here just for the salad bar. But also their lunch steak and other lunch menu items are really good to try out. Their burger is great too.

The last time my husband and I ate here (about 1 year ago), we decided we wouldn't go back. However, we are on a tight budget and had a coupon, so we decided to give it another try. We were impressed. The new manager is fantastic, friendly and attentive. He made sure that everything was ok and that our drinks were refilled promptly. They have upgraded the salad bar area and it is definitely more attractive. Everything on the salad bar was fresh and there is a good selection of toppings. I used to think their blue cheese dressing had way too much onion, but I liked it better this time. I love the cheese toast and the fried chicken wings were hot and crispy. My steak was perfectly cooked and the fries were hot and crisp. My husband's steak was also done to his liking and he loved the fried shrimp. The one thing they could improve is the dessert section. We never eat dessert here because neither of us care for bread pudding or banana pudding and most of the time we just don't want soft-serve ice cream. However, we would definitely go back if we had another coupon.

You don't come here for the steak, you come here for the salad bar! Every time I get a steak here, it is always over cooked. The salad bar on the other hand is good. They have a good selection of toppings and good salad dressings to choose from. They also have pretty good fruit as well. The other really good thing to eat here are the hot wings. They are close to KFC wings but not spicy at all. They are crispy and delicious. Dessert is only ok. They have the typical frozen ice cream as well as some bread pudding and banana pudding. If I'm really in the mood for salad, this is where I go.

I called in a takeout order of Malibu chicken and rice. It was ready when they quoted and they included utensils and napkins with the order. The food was hot and delicious. Extra good cheese toast this visit! The cashier was so friendly.

I don't really care for chain restaurants, but I love this one. I love the steak & salad bar deal for $9.99. Select not choice steak ... still good for the price. I had the all you can eat fish fry today for 8.99. Not the best choice, but a good value. Fries were good, didn't care for the cod. I really love their ice tea and salad bar. It's kept up pretty good. Service is always good ... even around Christmas time when we have a party of 25.

The steak was just perfect, steaming hot. The sizzler cheese toast sizzling hot, just how I love it. The salad bar well stocked and the fried cocked hot and tender. Thanks Claudia for providing us with a great dinning experience. We'll definitely be back.

The service we received was excellent. What I don't understand is why restaurants get away with paying their servers $2.50 for doing side work. I wouldn't do that even if my retail business allowed it. Anyone working on this problem?

The staff was pretty rude and the food was not particularly good.

I ordered mushroom on the top pf streak but got onions instead. I ordered salad bar for my self and an entree for my boyfriend but they kept telling me that I can not share my salad bar with him unless he got an add-on salad bar, I know! It is ridiculous. He would not eat any salad bar definitely, ok! Food is fine for this price. Overall, bad experience here this time!

The salad bar here is a must. Now I like this place a lot because it feels fancy but doesn't break the bank. So I've gone here casually but also on a prom dinner date. Also, our waiter was very attentive to us but not annoying.

Okay usually I am a fan of sizzler. But I don't know what the deal was tonight. They charged us for an extra meal and also an extra side. The manager seemed really irritated with me at that point that I asked for it to be fixed. Then there was a hair that he claimed was cheese on our shrimp but hairs do no have follicles attached to them. FINALLY we went to get our ice cream. We get half way down and there is a BEE! Dead bee in our ice cream. Then when we asked the manager to come look he got super pissed off at us like it was our fault. I'm sorry sir I do not carry bees in my bag to mess up people's day. So he did give us our money back, told me I was never allowed to go there again and proceeded to call my friend an ass. This location is the absolute worst location in the valley. Drive the extra 15 min to go to a different location.

I was really surprised to become such a huge fan of Sizzler. I thought you had to be a senior to eat here (and they do have a discount). Steak? Check. Salad bar? Check. Weird random spaghetti, meatballs and chicken wing bar? Check. Ice cream sundae bar? Check. Cheese toast? Double check. Or triple check, depending on how hungry you are. The set up here is a little different. You come in and order at the counter first off the menus printed on the walls and then you self seat after paying. When your food is done a server will bring it out to you. Keep your eyes peeled for coupons that come in the mail, there are some good deals!

Sizzler may be known for their steaks, shrimp and endless salad bar but I can't tell you why that is. I don't like Sizzler. I think their food is pretty marginal at best. I've tired eating there a few times and I've been disappointed on every occasion. Last night my 10oz medium well steak was cooked well done, not medium well, and the outside was crusty with bits of carbonized meet. My steak itself was fatty, not at all tender, and tough to chew. That is the second time I've had a steak like that at this location, so at least their consistent. As far as Sizzler's salad bar offerings -- they aren't much in my opinion. Sure they have a decent selection of vegetables, meat, cheese, fruits and the usual salad fixings you'd expect. Most everything looked pretty fresh and the salad bar itself was clean and well kept up. But it still left me wanting for more... more options like more hot sides and more deserts... Call me crazy but I'd rather eat at Chuck-A-Rama, which is only a few blocks up the street. Sure I can't get steak at the Chuck-A-Rama but what I do get is a whole lot better than Sizzler! Chuck-A-Rama serves up a MUCH better salad bar, with a lot more options; a wide variety of hot entrees and sides; and a plethora of drinks and desserts. PLUS, Chuck-A-Rama is less money! That's what I call a win win. Skip Sizzler and head to the Chuck-A-Rama instead.

i was really, really surprised to like Sizzler. I have weird memories of eating here with my senior citizen family members when i was younger, and boy things have really changed since then. So, I must admit, the only reason we came to eat here was a tempting coupon. It was something like 2 steaks and salad for $19 or whatever. I thought, for some reason, that Sizzler was a sit-down restaurant, but it's more like a buffet-ish type restaurant. The menu is on the wall, you order before entering the dining area and it's self-seating. We sat down and were promptly greeting by a nice young man and given a basket of texas toast. We got our drinks and headed over the the salad bar. I didn't want the steak, so I have mine to my man and I had a couple trips of salad bar and a baked potato. The food here isn't amazing by any means, but it is decent comfort food at even more decent prices.

I took mom for lunch on sunday she had the 12 oz signiture steak with baked potato and i had the 10 oz steak with malibu chicken. The waitress was very polite and on the ball with our drinks and cheese bread. The steaks were cooked perfect very tender and juicy, the baked potato was also delicious. I think this was the best trip to this sizzler, everything was perfect, i would recomend it to all of my friends and family.

Good food, reasonable prices. Staff willing to set up tables for large groups. Sometimes they dont assign enough servers for our group (usually 12-15 folks). Big selection on salad bar, love their Texas toast. Side salads are so-so.

My 6 year old niece loves this place but it honestly feels like I'm eating at a retirement home. She likes it mostly because its right next to sugarhouse park but I love the fresh salad bar, I don't care for the other food like steaks and such. The service is always good and friendly. If you are looking for a salad bar, this is it!

Get ready to rib me. I am usually surprised when people review chains, but here I go. I used to tease my parents mercilessly for never straying from the Sizzler in Oregon whose staff knew their names. After having a very disappointing tough sirloin experience at a new 'NOT A CHAIN' steak house, I remarked to my meal companion, who agreed, "I had a better steak at Sizzler". Well, craving the meat, the other day I headed there. I avoided the buffet salad, as it is always too much food. The steak was tasty, tender, juicy and rare (as I ordered). The cheese toast was good, my side salad fresh, baked potato good, and the free fresh raspberry lemonade was refilled 3x. My server even let me snag a moist brownie from the buffet for dessert. I can't complain. It beat my disappointing 'steak house' steak, hands down. Sometimes a casual chain can serve it up just fine. Also wanted to mention: recently Sizz has come up with a spinach cranberry almond salad that is Soo good. And one last word, don't miss the soup... the steak vegetable soup is outrageous. It is at the buffet, and though I often avoid buffet soups, this is honestly one of my fave soups in the valley.

Took my family and some in-laws here for dinner. Food was good and service was satisfactory. Will be back. Can't go wrong with steak and all you can eat shrimp...or Malibu chicken, or hibachi chicken..

My friends and I always get fast and good service when we go to Sizzler. The servers are friendly and efficient. The cheese bread is so good I usually ask and buy an additional piece to go with my food. The salad bar is a good deal, too. The one thing I still can't get at Sizzler is a perfectly cooked steak. I normally order ribeye, medium at places, but at Sizzler they always overcook them to almost medium-well or closer to welldone. I've tried to order medium rare, but then the steak came out too raw for me. The meat itself is not bad, but I wish whoever is grilling the steak can make it right.
